I started writing Standard Operating Procedures in 2000 . long before "process documentation" became a corporate buzzword. Over two decades I wrote and implemented hundreds of machine-specific SOPs for FMCG and industrial leaders, building systems that survived handover, turnover, and the particular chaos of the factory floor.

When I wasn't writing SOPs, I was teaching others to write them . coaching operators, engineers, and managers to produce documentation that actually worked. Later came assessment and training: designing evaluation tools that turned paper systems into measurable performance.

Alongside the technical work runs a quieter project . The Shattered Compass, a literary fantasy series set in Edwardian England where the map lines break and something older bleeds through. And the memoir. And the self-development guides. The voice across all three is the same: precise, honest, and entirely unwilling to waste your time.

I co-own Pretzel BV, a Netherlands-based publishing company, and operate under three brands reaching readers across multiple continents. The next chapter involves American Quarter Horses, reining arenas, and a permanent move to the United States . but the writing never stops.
